Giving Back: How Rokkitwear Supports Your High School

Rokkitwear is different from other high school gear distributors. We are the exclusive online supplier of officially licensed high school apparel. Rokkitwear creates a new source of income for your high school by putting a portion of the money from every item sold back into the school. Schools don’t have to pay to join and they receive the largest share of the royalty revenue.

You will receive an online high school retail store that will be branded specifically to your school. Our team of designers will work with you to design your high school apparel and other merchandise with your school’s mascot, logo, insignia and school colors. This puts you in control over the products that are being bought and sold and representing your school.

A few of the benefits of ordering your custom apparel from Rokkitwear:

  • Income for your school
  • Free to join
  • Receive a free online retail store that is maintained by us
  • Ability to purchase bulk items
  • No worries of running out of inventory
  • Help maintain control over who uses your school’s mascot, logo, etc.

Besides the school spirit shop, most high schools receive little, if any, of the profits that local stores, screen printers, and online retailers receive from the sale of customized products bearing school logos, names or other identifying marks. We believe that the school should benefit from each and every sale of a product with its name. To confront this issue we partnered with the Licensing Resource Group and the National Federation of High Schools to change the way the market works and put a healthy royalty payment into the hands of the school for each product that is sold.

If you want to add your school to the list, or have any additional questions regarding how Rokkitwear works and how we would benefit your high school, please contact us now! We love talking about what we can offer your school.

Getting Ready for College

With graduation right around the corner, there is one big thing on most high school seniors’ minds: college! Choosing the right college is a big decision. There are many things you need to consider when determining the best college for you; the campus, the academics, athletics and extracurricular activities.

But you’ve probably already got all that covered. Now you are ready to pack up and move out. Here a few things to keep in mind when getting ready for college:

Avoid getting homesick by bringing some nostalgic items from home. This might include your favorite pillow, a framed family photo or pictures with friends, a blanket you always sleep with, or some of your favorite high school gear.

Get in contact with your new college roommates. Meeting with or at least emailing or speaking on the phone to your new roommates will make your transition much easier. You can learn ahead of time each other’s likes and dislikes and plan for ways to make living with one another as easy and fun as possible.

Stock up on a few crucial items. Some things you should make sure to have include: quarters for laundry, sleep mask and ear plugs, alarm clock, laptop computer and school supplies.

Get a tour of the campus. Instead of wandering around lost and aimless between classes, get a guided tour from someone who is familiar with the campus. Once you have your class schedule they can help you best route yourself from your dorm to the buildings around campus.

Speak to a counselor. Counselors will ensure that you are enrolled in the right classes. They will also help you choose a major if you are having a tough time deciding. Going over your classes will a counselor will allow them to help you set up a good schedule that will let you get around campus to and from classes in a timely fashion.

This is a fun and exciting time for high school graduates. It’s your first step toward independence and learning more about who you are as a person. If wearing some of your old high school gear makes you feel more comfortable as you take this big move – go for it! It never hurts to remember where you are coming from.
